The Fixed Site Radio Direction Finder

Our fixed site radio direction finders are typically installed in permanent or semi-permanent locations. The VHF/UHF/THF fixed site radio direction finder (RDF) consists of three antennas that can be stacked on top of a mast, tower, or building cover 115 – 1000 MHz in three frequency bands. One may operate these direction finders remotely via an Ethernet or radio-modem connection. When networked with other fixed site or mobile direction finders our TargetTrack software is used to geolocate the targeted RF emitter.

We offer our direction finders as portable packaged systems and rack mounted systems with everything necessary for set up and use. You can also purchase our components.

In addition, we provide Windows-based software with our fixed site direction finders. As a result, users can configure the direction finders and display the bearings on a map.  The software tunes all networked sites to the same frequency. The bearings from these sites are used to predict the location of the RF source.

Users can also connect multiple direction finder processors and receivers to a single antenna. Because of this, our fixed site direction finders can work together on up to 32 frequencies.
